About

Subvideo is an idea that I had in summer 2007 in Vienna, Europe.
After 10 month a first beta version is online.
In this first period I want to improve quite a lot the usability and introduce some news features.

Whith subvideo you can:

  • You can add subtitles to one video (subtitles, transcriptions, translations, comments, deficitions,…)
  • You can add timed images next to the video screen.
  • You can search a query in subvideo database and find in which videos and at which second appears your query. Then you can see the moments in a playlist

First release & License:

First version of Subvideo.tv will be released under GPL license for non commercial use and an other kind of license (still not decided) for corporative use.
Subvideo.tv copyright forbids the use of this software for contents with racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, religious hatred or missionarism.

Subvideo is currently in pre-beta version. We expect to publish the first release before the end of 2008.
